  • We provide a variety of programs to support all students, including special education, English language development, high ability offerings, and other services tailored to individual learning needs.

    Students have opportunities to develop leadership skills and participate in music, art, STEM activities, physical education, and library/media center time. We focus on building a strong foundation in reading, math, and essential skills that prepares students for academic success.

  • Concord Community Schools is committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment for all students. Safety measures include secure entrances with visitor check-in procedures, surveillance cameras throughout the campus, and regular emergency drills. 

    We also have school police officers, who are employees of the district and work closely with school administrators to ensure a responsive and proactive presence on campus. In addition, our counselors, administrators, and teachers collaborate to support students wellbeing and academic success. 

  • Technology is integrated to enhance learning, with resources such as interactive whiteboards, educational software, and a 1:1 iPad program that equips each student with a device to support digital literacy and engagement.

    At Concord Community Schools, we view technology as a tool to support student learning and not a substitute for meaningful instruction. We are proactive in ensuring that technology enhances, rather than distracts from, the classroom experience by setting clear expectations and promoting responsible use among students.

  • Concord East Side Elementary School is in session from 7:25 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. Office hours are 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

  • Families are invited register their child for school through PowerSchool Online Registration. The enrollment process is fully online. More information can be found on our website on the Enroll Today page. We accept in-district enrollments throughout the school year and will review transfer requests from out-of-district families each March. 

    For support, contact our enrollment specialists at the Concord Education Center by calling 574-875-5161 or via email by clicking here: Enrollment Support. Required documents include birth certificate, parent/guardian ID, proof of residence, and immunization records.

  • We welcome family involvement! Parents can support their child’s learning by attending school events, participating in leadership opportunities, and engaging with teachers and staff. Your involvement helps build a stronger school community and supports your child’s success.

Hello, I am Rob Teall. It is an honor and privilege to be the Principal of Concord East Side Elementary. Our staff works hard to build an excellent foundation of learning and a place where home and school work together.

We believe in helping each child grow in their learning, and we are honored to be recognized as a Family Friendly School by the Indiana Department of Education.
